The Outer Banks certainly gets its share of visitors in the summer, but the winter offers spectacular photographic opportunities...whether you are into landscapes or wildlife.  In this photo expedition you will get a brief glimpse into the awesome spectacle of the abundant waterfowl (ducks, geese and swas) that call the Outer Banks region home for the winter.  Imagine a flock of 100,000 snow geese or a single lake with hundreds of thousands of ducks and tens of thousands of tundra swans...it's a wildlife spectacle that can't be missed.  We will then venture to the ribbon of sand stretching along the North Carolina Coast and photograph  the unique beauty of the Outer Banks...lighthouses, dunescapes, seascapes, fishing piers, marshes, boats and much more.  I will escort you to some of my favorite photo locations and provide you with tips that will improve your photography and unleash your creativity.
