Outer Banks Beach Portraits

I specialize in casual, fun, candid beach portraits of your family and friends.  From individuals to groups of 35, I will create lasting memories of your time spent on the Outer Banks.

General Information

Portrait sessions will be customized to meet your needs, but you can expect most portrait sessions to include the following:

  • Meeting at the location of your choice.  Most clients choose to meet at their house and access the nearest beach for the portrait session
  • Making various photographs of the entire group and then photographing the various subgroups (grandchildren, siblings, individual families,etc.) that you desire
  • I like to spend a significant amount of time capturing casual and candid images of your group (i.e. kids playing, families walking by the water, etc.)
  • most portrait sessions last 30-45 minutes, but depends on the size of the group and other factors.
  • The best lighting conditions for portraits are generally found shortly after sunrise and before sunset.  

 

Pricing

The session fee includes the following:

  • My travel to the location of your choice.  There is a $50 travel surcharge for portrait sessions scheduled on Hatteras Island.
  • My professional photography services as outlined in the portrait agreement form.
  • Preparation of images (editing and basic processing) for online viewing
  • Online posting of images in a private gallery on my website

From your online gallery, you will be able to purchase a variety of print products.  Some of the most popular prints products are traditional photographic prints, canvas prints, photo albums/books and holiday cards.  You can see a selection of print products here.

 

 

Reservations

It is recommended that you make your reservation as far in advance as possible. You should contact me via email or phone to schedule your portrait session date and time.  I will hold this reservation for a short time and it will become finalized once I receive your Portrait Agreement Form and $100 deposit.

Last minute reservations are welcomed and you should contact me by phone (252-599-6275) and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
